Frontier’s LostWinds Blown Towards Steam

And now, from the developers of space-sim Elite: Dangerous and the cartoony theme-park sim Planet Coaster, a colourful 2D platformer series about controlling the wind. Funny how diverse Frontier’s output is.

Play as humanity's janitor in episodic adventure game The Descendant

Descendant

I played The Descendant this week, the first episode of an adventure game series made by Swedish developer Gaming Corps. It’s got a bit in common with Fallout—it takes place post-apocalypse and involves survivors locked inside into subterranean vaults—but borrows a chunk of design from Telltale adventure games.

Wes' Cool, Modernist San Fran Apartment — House Call

Name: Wes
Location: Golden Gate Heights — San Francisco, California

I live in a 700 square foot apartment, built in 1959, above Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.

As a graphic designer, I’m heavily influenced by modernism’s purity and ideals, and I learned to appreciate nature as part of my California upbringing. My home is a combination of the two, for me. Rational, defined living spaces are warmed by wood accents and textural pieces.

Thanks,…
