Aston Martin launches track-ready Vantage GT8



Aston Martin has unveiled a limited-edition version of the V8 Vantage developed with track use in mind.Called GT8, the more hardcore Vantage is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.7-liter V8 engine that makes 446 horsepower, about 25 more than the regular Vantage it’s based on. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, and a seven-speed automated-manual unit controlled by shift paddles is offered at an extra cost. Aston hasn’t published performance specifications yet.
