Several major Japanese manufacturers have stopped production in aftermath of the devastating earthquakes in the country.
Two powerful earthquakes (6.4 and 7.3 on the Richter scale) struck the south-western island of Kyushu last week killing at least 42 people. Both quakes caused huge damage to the urban infrastructure in the city of Kumamoto with destruction to buildings, roads, and bridges.
