Allow Free Downloads from the Mac App Store without a Password


Sick of always entering in your password to download stuff from the Mac App Store? Like iOS, you can set up the Mac App Store to bypass the password prompt when you’re downloading free software.


Head into System Preferences > App Store. Under Password Settings, you’ll find a drop-down next to Free Downloads.
